ABOUT

Based on unceded Darug and Gundungurra land in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Alison Dooley Daniel is a metalsmith whose work centres on organic forms, rich textures, and emotive design.

Since 2013, her practice has evolved through a deep connection to process and material.

Much of her recent work is inspired by her evolving role as a mother, bringing new perspectives and emotional depth to her craft. She is drawn to the quiet beauty of pieces that feel weathered, worn, and shaped by time — favouring organic textures and forms that reflect the imperfect poetry of the natural world.

Her jewellery is made to order, slowly and intentionally, with a focus on sustainability and care.

Working primarily with recycled sterling silver, she creates with purpose, rejecting fast fashion in favour of quality, longevity, and considered design.
